For me, this was that moment when it became glaringly obvious that EA was totally mailing it in on this series, not even making a superficial effort to improve anything. I know, I'm a slow learner. And it's EA, what else should I expect, right? Zero effort money grab in what has been a dumpster fire of a series ever since (and probably well before). The NFL license desperately needs to have some competition injected into it. Or just have it taken away from EA; I think literally anyone else would do a better job at this point.
