Easily the worst Harvester game

Yeah, I just revisited this wondering if it really was as bad as I remember. It is sandwiched between two masterpieces- The Cat Lady and Burnhouse Lane. It is the ending of a solid trilogy. It is even a huge graphical step up from the earlier entries…
And yet, misses the mark. The characters are uninteresting, feeling like shadows of former protagonists. The puzzles are barely existent, and it plays more like a visual novel. The entire story is boring and doesn’t add much to the trilogy storyline. The levels themselves are also dull on the eye.
The very first couple of sections are pretty strong though. They explores the typical dark matter for the dev with some real heart - domestic abuse and elderly care. This has the most interesting puzzles, characters, and horrific eye candy.
The game really falls apart after these sections. It seems like they didn’t know what to do next. It was a chore to slog through and I really recommend skipping this one. Play Downfall Redux, or the titles mentioned earlier instead! (But seriously, do play them.)
