I feel that it's crazy that Undertale has reached a point in indie stardom that I almost feel awkward writing my opinion about it, almost like I'm signing up for the crazy fandom title by stating that it's a great game, but I want my opinion in text somewhere.
Now to step into the shoes of the hipster that I am then I was actually one of the people who played Undertale within a week of release, and I can firmly say that playing it completely blind with only a few recommendations to go off of was a mind blowing experience for me.
The game is an extremely well crafted facade to say to least and lets you think there's little depth to it initially, but without suddenly becoming overly forward, then you start deeply resonating with the goofy characters of this (frankly quite ugly) pixel world.
I don't want to go off on tangents explaining every detail of good that is in this game, because I feel that part of the reviewer market is quite saturated to say the least.
So I'll just end off by saying that this game left me wanting more for months on end and despite the fact that I've probably watched enough lets plays or reviews about it, to never want to touch it again. Then I'll never forget especially that first, intimate game experience that I had with Undertale.
