Beat. This game reminded me of the firemen. It was pretty simple 1 button to shoot ghosts and the other to make the AI partner trap it. Usually the partner simply walked up to the enemy but a few times he walked around obstacles when I was shooting through impassable area. I was impressed at that level of path finding. The ghosts were fairly creative with different movement and attack patterns, and the core gameplay was fun. Dying in 1 hit sucked though the only penalty was getting back up after losing a life. The 1 time I tested using a continue it put me right before the room where I died. The level design was not great as many similar looking rooms repeated during each level with only slight variations in enemies. Despite the game being way too short, each stage dragged on too long with repetitive content. Bosses were decent and changed up the basic combat. I had to look up how to kill the 3 big head guys just before the final boss because I has not realized I could move around while shooting. Final boss was a very simple shoot em up boss and I slowed the speed to make dodging easier. Disappointing that there was no 2nd phase or more than 1 simple pattern. I did like the cute animations during the credits. Fun well made game but sorely lacking in content.
