A barebones Animal Crossing clone that for some reason I'm still playing

The vineer that Heartopia offers is adorable. There's no denying that for a certain type of consumer, the looks of this game alone will be enough to stay in the world and spend money in the cash shops. Its cute and in its cuteness it is consistent.

Unfortunately, Heartopia is a mobile game and it doesn't just feel like a mobile game in its microtransactions, it also feels like it in its controls, its gameplay mechanics, and just about every other aspect. Controls are awful. You have a 50% chance for the camera to move when you want it to move, as the systems' attempt to translate mouse movement into faking swipe movement fails regularly. Its building system makes a 10 minute update to your house take an hour because of its base limitations and just how much the system breaks and needs to be reset.

Other than that, you have the gameplay on offer. Ignoring the fact that somteims you are fighting the controls. Lets imagine for a moment that they work perfectly.
