Tried out the free demo on Steam. It looks really cute and fun! So far though, I'm super frustrated trying to play it without any button assigned for generally interacting with people or objects. You have to move the mouse over a bubble that pops up, and click on it. If it's a moving person, you kind of have to chase after them to hover your cursor over the bubble. I found a couple discussion threads mentioning controls as an issue- one person said they would need controls to have more options, as they currently can't play as a left handed person. There was a response that said they'd tell the team... back in 2022. Doesn't seem like easier controls are coming much sooner. I imagine the switch version is easier to use? I'll update if I decide to try it.

Hit the credits yesterday, after not playing for like a month, but there is still a lot more to do.

Review to come!

Entertaining game with interesting characters and lots to do. I liked the diverse small town, gathering, crafting, and romance options. The developers have put a lot of love into this game, and it shows. Highly recommend if you like cozy story games with fairies and witches.

Trying to finish this up before Everdream Valley drops on Friday.

It's been solid, but there have definitely been some tedious aspects. Review to come.

I saw this a while back, but didn't think it was out yet. Watching an ad for that upcoming Fae Farm game last night, though, I saw a comment that made me realize this was already out.

Snagged on Switch. A fully-voiced farming and witchcraft sim--so sold. It's looking to be quite LGBTQ-friendly in the romance options, and the voice acting and conversations with the other townsfolk are really well done. The dialogue is realistic and it's not repetitive since you can only talk to each person once per day.

There's a story as well, so it's a bit more than just "sim forever." The downside to that is a complete removal of any character customization. I played for 5 in-game days before heading off to bed last night, but I was fiddling with settings on the menu after and saw that you can actually adjust the speed of the days. It was set to normal automatically, but there's also a "relaxed" and "challenging" option. As someone who prefers real-time days in sim games, this is a nice in-between.
