this seems like it was built for mobile and put on PC (which it may have been)....
but that said, it just wasn't enough of a game to see it through.

Cute little puzzle game. Nothing special. It's basically a watered down knock-off of Legend of Grimrock, right on down to the rock throwing mechanics and hint scrolls. If you liked that, you'll like this (but, if you're like me, not quite as much).
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started this game, but I definitely wasn't expecting the quality I got. This is one of my favorite mobile (can also be played on PC) games that I've ever played.
It's set up is similar to Celeste. You are introduced to each new room with challenges to overcome, except unlike Celeste's platforming skills, this is a puzzle game so you're gonna have to use your noggin.
No puzzle was overly difficult and you could fly through many of the 100 levels. But there are challenges as not all of them are easy. If you get stuck, then there is a hint system. Which start out very vague to basically almost giving you the answer I'd needed. Which is a great way to go about it.
The controls I thought worked great on mobile. I had a couple of mishaps but nothing that even came close to overly frustrating. The swipes for direction worked stellar.
The story was a lot of fun too! Nothing crazy here. Just trying to save your brother at the end of the day. But the little more build up that goes on throughout is supremely done. Picturing this …

Picturing this down and what they've done to keep the Dead King happy and why is perfect. I love how it leaves a little room for you to fill in the blanks but not so out there you have no idea what's going on.
I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys puzzle games. And even if you don't it's worth a shot. You can play the whole game for free, if you are willing to endure ads. Or you can buy for under $3. Some of the best money I've ever spent. I hope this dev keeps making games.
Oh and PS, the pixel art is on point in this game too. Beautiful stuff.
