Master Reboot comes off as a college project. A good one, if you're comparing college projects, but it's not polished enough in any one area to be worth your time. The puzzles come in two flavors: "Baby's first" and "...the Hell is going on?" The game is set up in a series of rooms that represent the character's life experiences. You'll be solving puzzles, doing some first-person 3D platforming (something bred out of games in the past decade for good reason), and occasionally being spooked by an antagonist that has no purpose other than to spook you. It's billed as a sci-fi horror puzzle game. I can see where the writers wanted to go with the story, but it was too poorly executed to make an impact. The characters had nothing going for them, and I never cared why. There are also some cringe-worthy 2D interludes, that further solidify my thought that this was made by a group of kids as their first real effort. Stay away from Master Reboot. It's not good as a puzzle game, a horror experience, or anything else you'd want from a video game.
A trip on acid of inconsistent graphic and gameplay quality that despite all manages to keep you interested.
Still haven't beaten the last boss. Not enough drugs in house for that...
Jesus christ this game is creepy as fuck. I didn't expect it to be creepy. I only managed 15 minutes before I had to stop :/
