Going through the dungeon was the most miserable experience of the past year. Actually made me uninstall.

I constantly feel as if im not in control and im just wildly flailing all over the place. Also, I much prefer games that have a story that I can complete while this game is mostly based on achievement hunting, building and loot hunting like Minecraft. Its just not for me.

Incredible game with immense replayability, especially when you consider mods such as calamity. This game is an incredible experience i recommend anyone interested give a shot

While playing Terraria again with kiddo, i can't help to think.

Man this game holds up so well, and boy does it inspire modders to create great stuff. From just adding small things to major expansions or overhauls to the game.

Been coming back to this game for years, and probably will come back to it more times. Especially if …

First time actually playing Terraria singleplayer and realizing how much of a wiki game this is, more than Minecraft is at this point. The achievements push some kind of progression but good luck figuring out the rest, pal!

There was one song that I heard as I started mining underground and it was awful but it eventually went right back to the main theme so I guess it's fine.

I've been playing since pre-release May 2011 and I still can't get enough. My friends and I have done playthroughs literally every patch release. I've soloed expert mode 1.4.1. I had 100% achievement completion before 1.4.2 added more, so I need to do yet another run for that.

Finally, it is done! My partner and I defeated The Moon Lord on an Expert World from scratch (and again on Master with the same characters), forged the Zenith (twice), constructed the Drill Containment Unit (twice!), built villages and weathered invasions

But one insurmountable challenge remained, until today! We've defeated the real final boss of Terraria, The Angler! With …

But one insurmountable challenge remained, until today! We've defeated the real final boss of Terraria, The Angler! With the Supreme Helper Minion achievement finished, we've 100% completed Terraria! It's been a long journey, but it has now come to a close

Played during free trial of xbox game pass. I was only going to play it once so decided on the maximum size map. I built my base like a NES Mario fort of simple stone; the ceilings were only high enough for me to fit in and the outside was staggered so I could jump over it either way. I am not big on building things so it was only the bare minimum needed. I played long enough to get to some of the harder areas and a full set of silver gear. I liked the magic staff the most, followed by a snowball cannon. I tried to play it more like a shooter and that would have went much better with the PC version.

I died quite a few times by drowning in the dark until I found a helmet with a light. Mostly I died to enemies and their damn contact damage. Did not help that they keep respawning. After a couple of days playing I got sick of having to run all the way to my death spot and stopped playing.

It is certainly an interesting game but I am not inclined to buy it. The game would be better for me if the enemies did not constantly respawn, and there were actual engineering principles involved in building things (like load bearing supports, material tensile strength and material degradation).
