Like slipping on an old glove.

It has been eons since i played multiplayer Halo but this feels as good as i remember it. The fact that I can jump back in and managed to score some kills is very satisfying. Love the Total Control game mode with its moving control points.

I’m happy to be finally playing a new Halo after 6 years with today’s early multiplayer “beta” launch. While Halo 5 had the series’ most forgettable campaign, its multiplayer ended up being a ton of fun for me, so I have high hopes for the new game. Infinite feels and looks good, but in all three currently available matchmaking playlists, the vast majority of matches are objective modes like Capture the Flag and Oddball that I personally find boring. Trying to play these modes with randoms is not great anyway, with the matches either dragging out badly or being one-sided. This is honestly a big annoyance and making this experience feel not extremely great for me. The big team matches with vehicles are especially fun, but I just want them to let me play how I want to play…

Started playing the flight last night. I never really found myself a fan of Halo multiplayer from what I've played of Halo CE, 2, and 3. I know that for a lot of people that was what Halo was all about but I really only found major enjoyment in the story. Maybe I was playing against people who knew what they were doing and knew what guns to use but I also didn't really put in enough time into 2 and 3s multiplayer to see if I really liked them or not. As for Halo CE I don't think I'll ever touch that torture chamber again. But I actually really like Halo Infinites multiplayer. Obviously I've only played a handful of matches but I enjoyed every single one of them. The AR and Pistol felt really good and the 3 maps I've played were all great and felt nice to fight in. But this game runs like hot ass for some reason. I'll give 343 the benefit of the doubt because obviously it's still a technical preview and it has quite a bit of time before it comes out but this game has already crashed my whole PC 3 times. And by crashed I don't mean the game itself. I lose all input to my PC and am forced to restart from the button on my case. Now while I don't have a high end next gen card which will probably run the game on max just fine, I do meet the recommended specs for CPU and GPU, but I still end up having to put my game on mostly low and medium for a stable framerate. Also the minimum and maximum FPS settings just don't work for some reason. Aside from that the gameplay is nice and I like what they have done. Can't wait to see what full release is like.

Uh oh, Halo Infinite campaign details are leaking from the tech test

Lemme guess. Knack(from the hit Sony exclusive, Knack 2) kills Master Chief with a tennis racket and you get to play as Locke from Halo 5, again. The game will represent the toxicity of the console wars and how radical (in the too far kind of way) fanboys …

I absolutely love how this game has a score of 3.82 despite the actual release day not even announced yet.

So, uh... next-gen Halo... Right? (Did anyone else find this surprisingly underwhelming? Maybe my opinion is null because I've never been a huge Halo fan, but the quality seemed to be ramping up as I work my way through MCC on PC as they're released. And then, this.)

Finally another Halo that will be available for PC. Can't wait to see what the developers are planning.
