Maybe some people hate it and that´s ok, the game has it flaws and I won´t deny them, but it´s also true that when this game brights it does it like a genkidama in the sky.

I don't like this game and abandoned really quickly. It wasn't the mediocre combat and exploration systems, but the fact I watched the anime a lot when I was a kid and I just can't stomach having to watch the same plot again, even with the changes it made.

But I really liked the DLC Bardock: Alone against fate, based on the now uncanonized TV special starring Goku's dad. Why? Because I just watched it a couple of times more than 20 years ago. It also adds a lot of context and background to the main character, his companions and the planet Vegeta. I didn't even mind having to fish!
You can read my full review of this DLC on GamerFocus. As usual, its in spanish.

It also has an unlockable story where you can control Vegeta when he was a child.

In conclusion, the Bardock DLC wasn't anything special. I won't even call it "Good". But I kinda enjoyed it because I'm a huge Dragon Ball nerd.

I’m a big fan of dragon ball z and anime in general. I remember the first teaser trailer for this game and it said “dragon ball z: project z action rpg” I was super hype for it because I was very curious about the action rpg part. Then I got skeptical because I was worried they was gonna stop at the cell saga. Then my hype went back up because it turns out it’s going beyond that. Fast forward, I never got the game because I saw the gameplay and it wasn’t a must buy it. Got it for my birthday and it’s on.
Let’s see how this goes.

I read the entire Manga while playing this game. An awesome way to experience the entire DBZ saga! Cutscenes are spectacular and battles are fun once you get the hang of it! Substory missions aren't that interesting but mandatory for leveling up! A must play for DBZ nerds!

I don't get why this game has such low ratings. It's awesome. Definitely loving the battle system as I find it easier than Fighterz's or any of the previous games. The story is fun so far (just beat Vegeta and Nappa), and I love the exploration in-between quests. Sub-quests are neat.
