It’s a fun game, exciting, fast, moderately open in how it lets you approach it. It is maybe a bit technically flawed but the biggest issue in my opinion is how dense the graphics are. It’s quite pretty to look at, but when you start going that fast with such a small screen, you kinda wish you had a cleaner look on things. Anyway, I’ve never been a master of driving games so, after conquering the first two championships, I gave up midway through the final one, because it clearly was too demanding for me. It also didn’t help that I stopped playing it for a while when Mario Kart World arrived: after many hours on those karts, going back to the hardest championship in a Wipeout game feels like jumping from a skyscraper window while on adderall.

I have never played anti gravity racer up until this point. And I must say that my first try was a disaster. Normal (car) racers and other games featuring cars really set the expectations for me how the vehicles should behave in the game.

So it was kinda refreshing and difficult to relearn the driving laws of physics. I was committed enough to watch almost an hour long tutorial video explaining how to drive these anti gravity vehicles. If you are as overwhelmed by the controls as I have been I recommend you to watch it.

But when you get the hang of it, this is a wonderful game. I really enjoyed futuristic world that the developers built. From all the racing teams lore to crazy architecture that is featured in this game. I also love the racing cars designs. Even the music is good.

But the most satisfying part is actually the learning curve. At first you I couldn't drive through basic turns without bumping. And that was on the slowest speed. But at the end I was able to complete the maximum speed courses almost flawlessly. And it really goes fast. It's an essential game for PS vita. Definitely recommend
