Golf is a game for the NES based on the sport of the same name. The golfer has been identified as Mario in supplemental material, albeit not wearing his traditional shirt and overalls. The gameplay of Golf is relatively simple. The player is given a ball, and a map on the right side of the screen shows the hole that they must hit the ball into. The obstacles on the way are also displayed on the map. The player will get more points depending on how many times they hit the ball to get it into the hole. Many different … More

You Don't play Golf.

NES Sports game on launch are Bad. Very Bad.

This game is no different. The controls here are the problem all around, In a way they're Very Dangerous.

You barely have any controls whatsoever on your movement, You can't make the shots you want exactly, the controls sometimes don't respond when you want them too, You just can't enjoy this game as much and you would've forced yourself to play it or maybe kids wouldn't notice the problems.

Just another Game that was made to be on the shelf for the NES Launch.

Here's a double entendre for ya- Golf is a lazy game. You're not really in control even when figuring out gauge and wind, and I know it's quiet playing golf, but jesus, dead silence followed by a few 'oouuuwwwhhhhhhs'. Golf is one of the bad release titles for the NES that needed some more love and time. I bet it sold really well, because I saw this in almost everyones collection when I was a kid. Don't play this. You should go golfing instead.
