Persona 5, a turn-based JRPG with visual novel elements, follows a high school student with a criminal record for a crime he didn't commit. Soon he meets several characters who share similar fates to him, and discovers a metaphysical realm which allows him and his friends to channel their pent-up frustrations into becoming a group of vigilantes reveling in aesthetics and rebellion while fighting corruption.

I just don't have time to play these crazy long games anymore!

Continuing to enthrall me, I have played for roughly 53 hours now and just gotten thru a really good vacation sequence that I think highlights the best parts of this game, the character interaction, emotion, and relationships. It really begins to feel like a circle of friends you have cultivated and grown with, especially since about 6 months have passed in the game up to this point. Particularly fun are some of the amazing, anime style cut sequences we see.

So I FINALLY finished Persona 5. And I'm glad I did. I'm going to miss this set of characters. There's been a lot of change in my life the last 9 months and this game has been there throughout, as I picked it up and carried on when I could, while playing other stuff too of course. Whenever I look back on it now, I'll remember this time in my life and all thats happening.

Is it my favourite Persona game? I don't know. I'm finding it tough to choose between 3, 4 and 5. They all do some things slightly better than the others. 3 probably has the best story, but they didn't really perfect the battle system until 4. And 5 is just so damn stylish! I don't know which is best. I'll just put them all on a level together for now. As some of my favourite games ever!

Weirdly, I find the segments of "real life" to be some of the most fun. There is something rewarding about trying to pull out as much benefit of each day.

Addictive, great story and voice acting, count me a fan!

This game really disappointed me. It had so much potential I was so ready to lead my army of persona's into battle. But those battles took forever to get to, as I had to live my life as a high school student in between battles. And there is nothing more boring than being a high school student.

I’m 41 hours in now, and the story isn’t starting to get real interesting. The gameplay has been great the whole time, but I wasn’t sure if I was hooked on the story and characters until now. I just want to keep playing to figure out what the hell is going on.

I’m having a ton of fun right now, but man does this game feel long! I’m like 16 hours in and barely feel like I’ve gotten started.
