Mark of the Ninja is a side-scrolling action stealth video game developed by Klei Entertainment and published by Microsoft Studios. It follows the story of a nameless ninja in the present day, and features a themed conflict between ancient ninja tradition and modern technology. After sitting in my backlog for more than five years, I've finally decided to play this. I've hearing about this one for a long time, some people even say it's "The best stealth game ever".

Let's see if it can live up to the hype.

Closing in on the end of Mark of the Ninja. Might be too soon to call it, but I think this is a nearly perfect game. I'm not generally a fan of stealth games. They usually feel tedious, watching guards walk in circles and starting over every time I misjudge a vision cone, it just isn't for me. Mark of the Ninja never feels like a chore to me. There's usually several ways to approach a scenario, and the checkpoints are very forgiving.
