Platform:
Neo Geo version.
Graphics/Sound:
In the third part of the series they moved from modern day jets to using more WWII kind of propeller plane models. This gives the game a bit of a different look, but apart from that it's very similar in style to the first two.
There's not much difference to the first two. It felt like there were even less powerup levels in this than before, but I can't say for sure. It was generally very quick to get from min to max level weapons and back. It also felt like there were very few levels in this one, and those not as detailed as in the second. Every second level seemed to be a filler with just one enemy type and basically no environment details. It's basically the same thing as in the second. As long as you have enough quarters it's easy to get through all the levels, even though you die quickly with one hit. The last level sets you back to the beginning of the level every time you die, which can get tough and frustrating.
Conclusion:
Even though I kind of like the WWII planes more than the modern Jets of the other episodes, I would still recommend the second one over this. This episode generally feels a bit rushed, with too many bland levels. The levels that are detailed are cool though and are filled with quirky humor.
