Red:Out is developed in Unreal 4. Controlling a nuclear-powered ship hovering about two meters from the ground going over 400 kilometers per hour is no piece of cake. Now imagine doing the same in a vicious curve upside-down, or in a double loop-the-loop. Your ship will never race on rails. Each input will apply a physical force!

Ooh boy. The first thing you notice about this game is that you have to press a button on your keyboard to close the epilepsy warning. I don't think i've ever seen that before.

The second thing is how this D-list racing game will automatically close if you do not have an internet connection. That's right, it won't even let you use the menu or anything. Wow.

The third thing is how this game has double steering. Yes, you need two hands to steer. On the left is normal steering, on the right is strafing. Just... why?

The actual racing itself is just dull going in circles trying to hit that speed boost. There's something about unlockable powers but they only unlock at level 3 so i didn't get them. Because Redout is dreadfully boring. Imagine making a racing game with the most basic steering and almost nothing else, then making it always online. Lol.

I don't think that racing games need another steering control

In the first run you take all the wall and then the game say to you : "hey there is another steering control" ! This control is just a "turn" but with better grip... We ask, why do it more complexe ? Is it better that normal steering, is both are usefull ? Racing games and trajectories are difficult, i …

Sees a free Epic game with online multiplayer: cool! Claim, download. Thanks Epic!

Tries to host a game: Error cannot create session. Tries to join a game: counts down 70 seconds then same error.

Waste of time.

Seems like a fun game. Played about a half hour. Seems like a good modern version of something like Wipeout. Can't wait to play more. Playing on PC and the game is amazing looking. I can't imagine wanting to play this in anything but 4K.

Has anyone played the Switch version of Redout? Wondering how it compares to FAST RMX.
