In Mystic Messenger, the player takes the role of a female character whose name can be changed and has no default one. The female main character, who is often referred to as MC, heroine, or simply protagonist, downloaded a mysterious app that leads her into living in a closed, secured apartment owned by someone named Rika, who is also the founder of a charity organization known as the RFA (Rika's Fundraising Association). There, she meets 6 new people (the remaining members of the RFA) and is tasked to organize the third party that the RFA members have been longing for, by inviting guests. The protagonist is able to choose one out of 5 available love interests, each with their own route and backgrounds, as well as digging out the truth behind the RFA. Read less

Ok so this game is actually solid, I don't really play otomes as a genre but the story here is fun and the characters are loveable and vibrant. I don't even care about the romance part that much.

That being said; I did the 'Jumin Bad End DLC' because I'm a completionist and want to experience all of the content. Listen, I love Jumin, aside from in his own route where he's insufferable. And well the bad end.... not my taste. But the DLC? What the actual fu-

The story writing is so bad and awkward? It's like a wish version of fifty shades of gray, and let's just say it's not like I hold the OG in high standards. I don't know I found it ridiculous, and a definite, big drop from the main story. I haven't played the other 'newest' DLCs but I hope they're somewhat better...

Leave my cat man alone.

Lost so much sleep trying to never skip any chat. But personally I really liked that aspect of the game, it feels much more immersive. The characters are all interesting and the illustrations are very good for the most part. Loved the voice acting

I loved this game...It made me laugh and cry. I felt like these virtual people were my friends. There were a lot of odd translation/spelling mistakes but honestly this game was something special.

I didn't do every route yet but until now they're soo annoying till the last days, when the creepy things start to happen they're sweet and selfless. Friendship everywhere!~ and this kind of stuff.
