I dunno about this one. I don't like the theme, and I don't like having to drive around the map to do any actual racing. Why does a racing game need a story anyways? And all this open world stuff. I'd much rather just pick a race from a menu and get on with it.

Voto: 8.5/10

Felt a bit bogged down on this but I recently re-intensified my efforts. Slowly making my way through Blizzard Mountain. Looking up some guides on vehicles really helped - I was having a lot of trouble with the snow. I'll move onto the Hot Wheels DLC when I finish.

At the moment I am wondering if I should go to Forza 4 or skip it for Forza 5 since it is unlikely I'll have Forza 3 AND 4 done by the time 5 rolls around. I doubt 4 will be too much of a downgrade if I go from 5 to 4 as I'd want to eventually but it'd still be sacrificing crucial changes I'm sure the developers are likely to make.

I've wanted this game for a very long time. With its de-listing coming up, Microsoft reduced the price so drastically I couldn't help but bite the bullet.

I'm glad I did.

Can't wait to drop another 100 hours into a Forza Horizon game.

Fantastic arcade style racing simulator with a really great open world, huge variety of cars (includes the Tesla Model S) and excellent graphics. Ton's of fun just driving around Australia, finding lots of collectibles.

Fantastic arcade style racing simulator with a really great open world, huge variety of cars (includes the Tesla Model S) and excellent graphics. Ton's of fun just driving around Australia, finding lots of collectibles.

Only downside is I wish the game had some DNA of the Burnout series - being able to trash your opponents or other cars on the road , or more of the scenery would be really, really cool in a game with this level of polish. That's really the only downside, but the world feels a little stiff as a result.

The most fun I've ever had with a racing game!

Open world driving games have always had a special place in my heart. Need for Speed, the first Cars movie tie-in, test drive unlimited we're just a few that I would invest so much time in exploring and doing events on my own time table, and it was a blast. Combine that with the driving sim superiority that is forza …

Combine that with the driving sim superiority that is forza and I am left kicking myself for not jumping into this branch off series sooner.
