I can't help but buy any mildly interesting game that was released on the wii. I love the console for some reason and I always find it interesting to see how developers try to incorporate the console's weird controls. Usually they struggle - toss in a bit of waggle and call it a day. Here they ported a 3-year-old pc game and added some tight pointer controls and a few awkward intrusive motion controls. Instead of just clicking on a door to open it, now you have to also twist your wrist as if turning a door knob. This is cute the first time, but only 2 chapters in I have had to open roughly 80 doors. My wrist hurts a little. The visuals are very dated and the voice acting is pretty hit and miss, but for some reason I am finding the whole experience oddly charming. I will solve the mystery! For I am one mystery-solving son of a bitch.
