About an hour into this game -- So far it's...interesting.

It's scratching a certain nostalgia itch with what is so far looking like a fun Indiana Jones adventure and storyline, but still undecided on the gameplay.

So far it feels like other Bethesda games I've played as far as movement, actions, etc.

Gonna keep playing and will update later.

Got to love that I set this to preload weeks ago, and logged in now to not only find out it didn't preload, it's also suffering a general download error at the moment. Good job Microsoft!

I'll admit that I have never watched an Indiana Jones movie, but I'm becoming more and more interested in this game not because of the franchise, but because of a fork of id Tech 7 (DOOM Eternal's engine) being used for it, which is always a good sign. Gets me more interested in how DOOM: The Dark Ages will run.

Looks like another game to watch for on sale next year after I clear some backlog for 2025! I will definitely be upgrading to a RTX 5090 for this. I'm humming the john Williams theme right now!enter image description here

I love indy and I'm considering getting a new beast machine for this game.

A brazen idea but one that may curb potential tariff nonsense that spirals pc prices out of control. My 1080 is officially out of minimum requirements for a game I have my eye on.

Bank account, hold on to your potatoes.

Industry B.S. designed to part audiences with more of their money sooner continue to be silly and transparent. So this game launches on Monday 9 December. But if you pre-ordered the premium edition, you get to play it as of tomorrow, 5 December. So the real "launch date" is 5 December, and they've delayed the wide release until the 9th to incentivise players to pony up for pre-orders to inflate initial sales numbers. Charging players for the privilege to play a game sooner is manipulative and scummy, and it's unfortunate that people fall for it.

Man, the more I see of this game, the more coal I shovel into my hype train. It seems like they've nailed the charm of an Indy adventure, even if I still can't not hear Troy Baker as Troy Baker. I've come around on the 1st person perspective.

I've not been this hyped for a game since Red Dead 2.

It’s kind of wild that you can pre-install this almost an entire two months prior to release.

It'll put me a few months behind the actual release of the game, but apparently Indy is coming to Playstation in the spring. I was hoping that would happen since this is a Disney licensed game. They announced a Collector's Edition that includes no physical disc, only a digital download code. Despite including a steelbook case.

There is a standard retail release confirmed from VGP, but it is unclear if it's just a code in a box, or if a disc would even contain a complete game on it.

Every article and social media post for this game is full of people asking for clarification of a physical release, or asking when the PS5 release date is.

Whatever the intended goals were for marketing this game, Microsoft and Bethesda have managed to make the discourse more about the game's release and exclusivity than the game itself. These guys are truly creating a much more confusing web than they need to.

It's too early to know, but with Starfield being an Xbox exclusive, at least at launch, I'm hoping this Indy game isn't also a Microsoft exclusive game. I've always owned Playstations.
