Lovely expansion. Beautiful new area and hub, gorgeous new monsters and weapons. The gameplay loop and grind get quite stale and repetitive in the end-game.

Guiding Lands end-game area is layered with tons of RNG, augmenting weapons is very, very RNG based, not a big fan of how they've walled progression and charm upgrades behind Guiding Lands progress.

Either way, loved the game, story was serviceable, the fashion and gameplay kept me going for hundreds of hours. Time to move on!

After seeing it, I felt a little bad. Is disturbingly similar it is to pictures with rich assholes posing alongside the dead elephants or lions they just murdered. I know Monster Hunter "it's just a game", but I hate how that made me feel.

This franchise is really bad trying to justify the actions of the player, I already wrote an article about that, but this picture condenses it. Shortly after ir, just before the credits, a character explains how another monster of the game, Nergigante, helps to keep the equilibrium of the exosystem by killing elder dragons that threaten it. Just a few seconds later a character says we have to hunt Nergigante.

This fucking game. I absolutely love it and I won't stop playing... but this fucking game, man.

I made a new build based on auto-healing and buffing when at max health, but that mixed set makes my character look like a bride that lost the lower part of her dress and her BDSM kink was shockingly revealed.

I think I'd better use a layered armor over this.

New armor. I went full ninja with maximum Critical Eye, Tool Specialist and Power Prolonger. I think Dual Blades would fit better with the theme. But I'm still happy with my Charge Blade.

I love this armor. Its skills are amazing. It heals me automatically and boosts my attack when I'm at maximum health, but the reason why I like it so much is that It was difficult as hell to get. Arch Tempered Vaal Hazak kicked my ass dozens of times trying to get the materials to forge it.

Also, it makes my character look like a goth goddess.

Sadly, It's not making the cut for Iceborne. Its defense is just too low for Master Rank monsters and I'm gonna need to replace it with a Master Rank armor to stand a change.

But I'm gonna keep it in my collection and display it in my room (you can do that now!). Its great when you can get attached so much to an item in a videogame.
