Finished Platinum for this game. It was a boring grind for the crowns (and the arena quests), but the rest was pretty straightforward. Will try to Plat Iceborne someday.

I can't believe I decided to get Platinum for base game. It took ages but now only the crowns remain. Those will take a while.

This game is way clunkier than it has to be. Just sayin'.

I loved the world of this game, the various scenarios combined the colors of the day, the variety of small, medium and large monsters is incredible, BUT the main quests become very repetitive and boring. I don't mind doing expeditions along with Resource Center quests which I like to do. I just think that there could be a better balance in the main quests between hunting, gathering, exploring, etc, so that the player does not spend the whole game hunting monsters.

Loving this game. This is my second full playthrough of a Monster Hunter game (after playing 4U on 3DS) and I absolutely love it. I just sunk 200 hours into this and waiting for Iceborne!

This title lacks the colour, edge and content of previous titles for the 3DS, BUT it brings a whole new level of graphic fidelity, polish, QoL improvements and stylishness to the table.
Amazing soundtrack and atmosphere, tons of fun with friends or solo.
I finished this game on both PS4 and PC, locking in about 350 hours total. Zero regrets …

Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta coming to PS4
Capcom is giving PlayStation 4 owners a preview of the Iceborne expansion for Monster Hunter: World in a two-part beta test, the first of which kicks off this weekend on June 21.
The first Monster Hunter: World Iceborne beta will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers, and will run from Friday, June 21 at 3 a.m. PDT/6 a.m. EDT through Monday, June 24 at 3 a.m. PDT/6 a.m. EDT. The second beta will be open to all PS4 owners, and run from Friday, June 28 at 3 a.m. PDT/6 a.m. EDT through Monday, July 1 at 3 a.m. PDT/6 a.m. EDT.
Players do not need to own a copy of Monster Hunter: World to take part.
Capcom says the beta will offer three quests: the Great Jagras hunt from the original Monster Hunter: World; a battle against Banbaro, the new horned brute wyvern; and a hunt for Tigrex, which returns to the franchise in Iceborne. Players will have access to 14 weapons and new tools, like the Clutch Claw grapple mechanic for the Slinger.

At first I thought I thought I was doing something wrong with how long the hunts would take, but after a few tutorial videos and help from a skilled friend, I’ve been slicing my way through and enjoy my time doing it. I’m still overwhelmed with the systems in the game, but so far I’ve been able to ignore most of them and still be successful. Here’s to hoping that success continues!

The new Witcher collaboration against an Ancient Leshen is no joke. Is a hard, long and grueling fight that requieres strategy, speed and lots and lots AND LOTS of healing items. I was able to defeat it with an amazing team of randos and it was great.

A Witcher!? In my Monster Hunter? it's more likely than you think.
