Read moreSo I hit my first really enjoyable hunt yesterday. Not that the hunts leading up to this one were not fun, but the Kirin hunt was truly a blast. It is the first that actually requires watching for patterns and learning the monster's tells. It was also the first fight that actually lasted almost the full time allotted, largely because of the amount of time spent dodging during its enraged phase instead of attacking (although I'll admit when the ten and five minute remaining marks hit I started taking more risks simply because I was running out of time). It was a great fight and I am definitely going back in to farm for some more gear and a nice new lightning Glaive.
