Take this also as a PSA that vita emulation on android is very good. Game compatibility is excellent and performance is pretty good, even in my phone, which is not high end by any stretch. A phone with a telescopic controller might be the Vita gaming machine you always wanted.

This game starts strong. I really like how Kat is in this bizarre situation and takes it all in her stride. The image of her hurling in the air is endlessly funny.

It'd been a while since I looked at Vita emulation and it seems that it has come a long way! Gravity Rush runs exceptionally well on my phone.

And it ended on a cliffhanger without solving any of the misteries it created.

OK, I guess I'll have to play the sequel.

Finished it. Loved it but would have enjoyed more answers. Night go back for trophies, unsure at this point.

Something about this is perfect on the Vita and feels like I'm sitting in front of a 60 inch TV. The 3D world and 365 degree area of motion makes for a big world. Seriously, what kind of game using auto save saves your game when your health is at a minimum? I am dropping this one close to the end because of this and because its been twice also that I have fallen into pits or whatever and couldn't get out, not even flying. Very annoying.

Have owned the Vita version for years now but never really put much time into it. Giving the PS4 remaster a shot and it has definitely been fun so far! The game looks and feels great, being 60fps. About 4 hours in and up to chapter 4, spending most of my time just exploring the town, collecting gems. Took a bit of getting used to the controls when I was trying to get gold medals on the challenges but upgrading skills made them MUCH easier. Looking forward to putting more time into it!

Over the weekend I completed Chapters 10 and 11, which left a pretty bad taste in my mouth. 10 was especially aggravating as you get thrown into a rift plane but your gravity gauge usage increases dramatically, making things severely frustrating. The whole thing put me off so badly that I wasn't sure how I felt about the game and was debating on whether or not I should quit it.

I went back to it tonight and finished 12 and 13. Holy crap. I wasn't expecting things to turn out that way. 12 was basically the opposite as it also introduced a limiting gimmick, but it was brief and the whole feel of the level was much more clever and took the game in a direction that I wasn't foreseeing. You've won me back, Gravity Rush. I'm sorry I doubted you.

I've wanted to play this for a while since I saw a play of the original Vita release. I'm really enjoying it so far! I'm enjoying exploring the city and finding how I can try to best shortcut my way across the city by floating. Also the atmosphere is very French and I'm digging that.
