The combat wasn't all that fun, the puzzles were pretty tedious, and I really struggled to make progress. I'll blame myself and just say it was hard for me to even figure out what the game wanted me to do sometimes rather than it being a problem with how the game conveyed the objectives. The art looked nice at least.

The game starts with a car crash scene. Moments later you are playing as a fictional character that looks like Tingle from the Zelda series. The game world is called the mind, the game explains why it's called that in the end.
Gameplay
The gameplay consists of puzzles and melee combat. The enemies are not too difficult. And the combat mechanics are really simple, you only have a slash combo and charged slash. The game features bosses called nightmares.
What I liked
What I liked the most about the game was the music and puzzles. The puzzles were not too hard but felt rewarding when you solved them. The music in this game was interesting. The nightmares were singing as you fought them. The songs were catchy and some lyrics were quite funny. The game's visuals and combat reminded me a little about Bastion. The visuals also have a handmade painted style, similar to games like Broken Age. I had no major tech issues and the game ran well, except for a small segment around the end which dropped the fps for a few seconds
What I didn’t like
I had no major issues with the game. The game is a bit slow at times, and just moving around is a bit slow, I was constantly rolling around because it was faster. The voice recordings were inconsistent, quality of recording and volumes varied a lot depending on characters. There were a couple of puzzles that were not as fun, and can get frustrating. There is no hint system in the game that I saw, but that might have helped with frustration. But it feels really rewarding when you beat the puzzle finally.
Score 3.5/5
