It's hard not to get mesmerized firsthand by Bendy and the Ink Machine's style that screams 'old-fashioned Disney' from every corner there is, but there are certainly a lot of flaws in it that made me not give the game a full five-star rating.
While I dived into the game knowing that it's not really intense when it comes to its horror aspect, it did manage to give me some spooks towards the end. But... that's pretty much it. The game holds itself with some great ambiance and truly creative enemies and threats, but none of it makes you feel tense.
Chapters 1 to 4 were quite entertaining, but the ending on chapter 5 completely fell flat for me. Somehow, it felt rushed, and it didn't really give any sort of interesting buildup, even while going through the boss fights.
But the worst part of it all is how the game runs. Truly awful in some parts with sudden drops in FPS that made my eyes burn, as well as some other control issues. Even coming from a game that's been out since 2017, the latest PC version STILL has a lot of errors and bugs that made the game …

And let's talk about how (at least for me, anyways) there is not an option to change the language in the game? And not even in Steam as well. The translation to my native language was absolutely horrid, and some of it didn't even make sense. It felt like someone slapped the text through a translator and called it a day without even bothering to double-check it.
So... is it unplayable? Not at all! I actually quite enjoyed it despite its flaws making it a bit more tedious to play. And it really does have quite an interesting story and plot that unfortunately comes to a very mediocre end. But all in all, I'd say it's worth playing it at least once.
Not very scary (which was fine, since I didn't expect it to be), but fun creepy vibes in the beginning. Absolutely terrible gameplay. Combat is a chore, targeting and movement can be pretty awful in the few moments where you want to be fast.
Fun world and interesting art style. Seems more like a walking simulator that they tried to flesh out than an actual game. I was pretty done with towards hour 5/7.
The “Horror” of this game fails to scare me but makes a good effort. It’s pretty ok gameplay wise and I like the art style.
