This was not what I expected from the summary, but I think what it turned out to be is even better.
As someone with anxiety myself, this portrayal of living with it felt painfully accurate. I appreciated that the writing is crisp and nuanced: instead of getting earnest lectures from characters about the best way to recover, I felt like I was interacting with real people where everyone was just doing their best and carrying their own flaws along the way.
I'm looking forward to Chattercap's next projects. If this is any indication of the quality she can provide, her work is definitely worth the time. Four out of my customary four stars.
