I've been training this Chichu to have more than 1.000 atk. I hope this is enough to finish the final boss quickly.

I really loved the game… until the Final Boss.

Is a boring tedious fight. The boss have five transformations. FIVE! and the last one is a grind. I have to defeat to parts of the boss so I can attack the real one… but then it revives his other parts after I did almost no damage and it’s back to the same over and over again. I looked at guides and videos online and my strategy and build is valid… but I have to brace for a extremely long battle or just grind for hours to get an advantage.
And I don’t want to do any of that.
I’m honestly think I enjoyed everything the game had for me and really considering to watch the ending on YouTube and consider the game completed. But it feels… “wrong”. I almost never abandon games and never so close to finish it… I really don’t know what to do.
What do you do when in similar situations? do you abandon the game? watch the rest on the game online? grind till you can finish it? I’m really open to suggestions.
Thanks.

Y me atranqué contra el jefe siguiente.
Va a ser así con cada jefe?

I fell in love with this game before I even played it: when I heard the soundtrack. I had no interest in the XIII series until then, at which point I bought the first two games immediately. In comparison to its predecessor, this one is the better game. It's just immensely more fun, fluid, and charming to play. Most of the gripes I had about XIII's gameplay were resolved. The characters themselves didn't bother me; if you're used to anime, there's nothing different here. The fact that I was playing the Asia region version with Japanese voices might have something to do with the characters not annoying me... who knows (FWIW: I had no problem with Vanille either)
As for the story... eh. I've played through games entirely in Japanese and had no idea what's going on, but still rate them highly because they are fun (games are supposed to be fun, right?) So the confusing mess of a story here doesn't really bother me. It was goofy sometimes, but it fit the feel and atmosphere of the game.
