Read moreyou basically just craft up ale recipes, brew them, age them if you want, and then sell them in villages. the entirety of this game is the same exact loop from beginning to end. i dislike the fact that i need to manually clean rooms and restore the light in candles. the entire game needs to be played in double speed. the worst part of the game, however, was the research tree. it takes a ridiculously long time to progress and unlock really anything substantial. for example, i didn't gain the ability to hire custodians or build a second brewery until i had played the game for nearly 2 full hours. i also didn't gain the ability to upgrade my monastery until then, either. again, cute idea and i really enjoy the ui but i can't say i thought the gameplay loop was the most interesting. definitely something you can lose time in but i imagine this will be difficult to pick up again to complete.
