One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 improves over its sequel with some key combat refinements that make the core '1vX' combat loop more addictive than ever.
Increased mobility
Aerial Combat
Variety in special moves and ability to bring up to 4 simultaneously in battle
Greater sense of scale with "Giant" characters and destructible environments
Massive roster
Re-used cutscenes
Story quality hasn't improved despite a new generation and a smaller quantity of covered storylines
Tons of mid combat notifications that are annoying and can't be disabled
I played it on Switch and the performance was more that reasonable. I could feel the power of being Shirohige or Kaido, and had a good time. I ended up playing during two good weeks and farming a lot. Maybe I will invest more time in the future, but for a first wave was more than enough. Got it in a offer for less than 10€ and it was worth every single cent.
