Начав играть посчитал игру самой неудачной в серии. Продолжив – втянулся. В конце уже получал удовольствие. Я поиграл много игр серии, и эта просто самая необычная из них. В целом это все тот же Ace Combat в котором аркадную составляющую вынесли в абсолют, сделав акцент на механиках ближнего боя и использования альтернативных средств полётов. Получилось хорошо и из претензий только то, что наслаждаться красотами видов с верху тут практически некогда. Только и успевай в контратаки переходить, да противников с, пардон, задницы стряхивать. А виды тут действительно хорошие. Впрочем как и всегда.
After finishing AC7, I wanted to get into the series so I bought this one on Steam since this is the only one available on PC. I'm a total noob when it comes to AC series but goddamn this one kinda sucks. This feels more like a CoD game instead of AC. Regenerating health, turret sections, boring helicopter missions, generic US-Russia plot, uninteresting characters and dialogue totally killed any interest I had to finish this game. I guess I could try to emulate the PS2 titles but setting those up can be a pain in the ass sometimes. But first I want to try Project Wingman.
