I'm not sold on the new hub. The first one was a wild ride of nonstop action. In this one, you're back to the hub after every mission. It stops the action cold every time and it's just ridiculous to imagine the killing machine walking around talking to people.

Ghostrunner 2 embodies the epitome of a well-executed sequel. It doesn’t overshadow its precursor; instead, it leverages the original as a foundation for expansion and enhancement. The world-building and character development represent a significant leap in quality, and the unwavering pace of action propels it into a class of its own. Improved on what was set

The first half of this game is just more of the original game with some slight tweak. I really enjoyed the later game with the introduction of the motorcycle and the wingsuit. I really hope they make this into a trilogy I need to see what else could happen.

Just started this game and it’s the first game but more thought out it seems. Ahriman was frustrating because of his wave attack and you just had to hope that the bot you could launch yourself from was nearby. Other than that it’s been great so far.

Fast paced cyber ninja action does it again

Ghostrunner 2 is more of the first, but doesn't stop adding new challenges into the mix for a moment. If you start feeling comfortable with the mechanics you're presented with, chances are they're throwing another one at you around the next corner.

A combination of combat and parkour of the first game, to the motorcycle and other major gameplay additions, you're always on your toes. You may be skeptical of a motorcycle being a large part of this game. Just trust me when I say, this is some of the best action in the game. Potentially my favorite level is almost entirely on the motorcycle, and I will probably replay it a thousand times.

Sometimes it can be a bit janky, but the beauty of a game like this is that you're expected to die/fail, so getting right back in the action is seamless.

In conclusion, Ghostrunner 2 is a must play for anyone who enjoyed the first, and for anyone looking for a fast paced challenge.

Can anyone who plays this let me know if it allows you to save your progress in a level when you exit the game or if it follows the same pattern as the first game where you lost all in-level progress if you exit the game?

Level design feels more complex, with a lot more freedom and alternate routes. They moved the environmental puzzles from the cybervoid to the real world, which is good, since the cybervoid was the worst part of the original game.

Overall, the original Ghostrunner was a winning formula and this is seems to be just more with some light tweaks, so I'm down for it.
