Recreates the J&D World But Goes Nowhere Interesting
This review is for the PlayStation Portable version

In many ways, this is a solid adaptation of the Jak formula to PSP. It controls well and captures the series' tone with fun new characters and ideas. However, the story ends just as it's getting interesting, teasing a better plot for a sequel that will never come. This is always frustrating in any kind of medium, but especially in a game you sink multiple hours into. If you find it cheap and/or are a Jak completist, it's a decent diversion that you'll forget about quickly. Otherwise, there's no reason to seek out The Lost Frontier as we patiently await the next entry in the series.

Never played this because I didn't own a PSP, but enjoying it so far on PS5 via PS+ Classics. Seeing that Precursor Legacy is one of my favourite games, I just like spending time in this universe again and having new areas to explore!
