Played on an emulator with a fanmade patch to experience the unique atmosphere of the village and hub. I'd have to say Yukumo is the home base village that stands out the most among the games I've played.

I've been meaning to get into the Monster Hunter games for some time now, but there are so many games in this series and they're all so big full of content that I didn't know where to start. I was considering starting with Freedom Unite, Portable 3rd, 3 Ultimate, or 4 Ultimate. I've decided to start with portable 3rd.
