Almost finished replaying this and wow...you can make an argument that this has the best campaign in the entire series.

Definition of "great game, poor timing". At this point in the COD series, most people were tired of the futuristic settings so no matter how good this game actually was, people still unfairly criticized it.

Definitely doesn't feel like a COD game though. Depending on who you ask, that might be a good or bad thing lol

In spite of everyone else’s opinion on this game, I actually loved it. Yes, the story is predictable, contrived, and unoriginal. Yes, the characters and side missions are shallow. But to me, it was still surprisingly good fun. The graphics are amazing and some of the galactic sets you fight in are simply breathtaking. More than once I caught myself just stopping in my tracks to stare out a spaceship window to check out the universe around me. When I first picked up this game, i had no idea what it was about and so I was positively surprised. That said, if you’re looking for a long game, then this isn’t for you. I played through the main story in around a day and a half and the side missions aren’t compelling enough to keep playing them. All in all, if you want good voice acting, beautiful graphics, surprising sets, and, generally, a good time, I would recommend you buy this game.
