Ol' School Kafkaesque Adventure Game

So, you're a cockroach. Actually you don't begin as one, but after a dose of some "bad mojo" you spend most of the entirety of the game as one

As a roach, you explore the bar where you are also a resident. Danger is around every corner as you must navigate a very unsafe environment with rats, ant traps, lethal barriers, environmental hazards and even your own damn cat. Ungrateful bastard

As you explore, you learn more about your unfortunate past as well as that of the bar owner Eddie

There is a bit of FMV in the game of people, environments and animals

There are puzzles to be navigated, before you can continue on your way. Some you will need to figure out on your own, while you can figure out others by observing how other roaches get around them

The roach actually looks damn good and scurries about convincingly.

I recall that there are various endings to the game which are determined by your actions

The game is both amusing and disgusting, but the world you make your way through is fairly rich for this era

It's a bit short, but I think a game like this needs to be before it overstays it's welcome

Obviously, this kind of ol' school adventure game will not be for everyone, but I have good memories of it, but some of that, admittedly, might be due to the premise. There just weren't many bizarre games like this one out at the time and a 1996 video games that used Kafka as a starting point was pretty much unheard of

Why be a cat, when you can be a cockroach?

A unique jewel in video games. Bad Mojo literally sucks you in and let you discover what a derelict house would be as a cockroach. The story is inspired from Kafka's The Metamorphosis. There is no complicated controls to learn, you are a cockroach, you can only move, so all the riddles are solved through movement, not to mention they are logical so no "use fish on air balloon to make explosive pizza" kind of riddles.
