The Horror. The Horror. I embrace it.
Wow.
The cover to Shadow Man was engraved into my child's memory. My mom forbid me to buy it, so I never knew what it is actually about and it became a mythos for me. I mean she was totally right: this is as The Devils Rejects, The House of 1.000 Corpses, etc. US-American 90/00s horror as it gets.

I did not know that the game is so vast and has such a big community! It is such a legend of vidya
My favorite Liveside levels and bosses:
- Mojave Desert and Marco Cruz (I always found amateur DJs crazy terrifying and making them a goofy serial killer was necessary)
- Florida and Milton Pyke (this actually gave me the chills - a Vietnam veteran running amok in a child's camp is some heavy shit ... the level does some crazy visual story telling with the police cars and Pyke's makeshift barriers)
- New York and Avery Marx (it's just a thoroughly beautiful level with the butterflies and nightingales)
- Texas and Dr. Victor Batrachian "The Lizard King" (it's just such a cool Natural Born Killers reference, isn't it?!)
- London and Jack the Ripper (also crazy beautiful and some real Vampire: The Masquarde/Blade/Queen of the Damned vibe)
Haha, I did it, young Max! I 100%d this badass game you saw in Kidzone magazine (On The Horror difficulty btw, so, this makes up for some sloppy 100% I did in the last few entries)
