Ok, I got an ability that does improve traversal. Aspects of traversal are still really stiff but ability I received helps make things feel a tad more fluid. Combat is growing on me as well, even if I don’t think it’s perfect.

I really like the concept, especially since all the monsters are tied to Austrian folklore, but movement and combat feel really stiff which takes a lot of the fun out of exploring dungeons. Maybe that’s just because I’m at the beginning and things will improve as I level up, but if movement remains this stiff the game might be hard …

I really like the concept, especially since all the monsters are tied to Austrian folklore, but movement and combat feel really stiff which takes a lot of the fun out of exploring dungeons. Maybe that’s just because I’m at the beginning and things will improve as I level up, but if movement remains this stiff the game might be hard to enjoy.

Dungeons have an aspect of Super Mario Galaxy level design to them given the way you navigate spaces, which is interesting.
