Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Update #1

First time playing this game series, and man I'm enjoying it so much xD. My only regret is not starting this sooner.

Phoenix Wright takes his first courtroom case and he represents his childhood friend Larry Butz who is being convicted of murdering his ex girlfriend with a statue/clock of "The Thinker". A witness by the name of Mr. Sahwit claims that Larry did it, but in actuality it was Mr. Sahwit who did it. Mr. Sahwit poses as a newspaper salesman in order to sneak into people's houses and steal valuables inside. While doing his dirty work inside the house, Larry's ex stumbles upon Mr. Sahwit and then he proceeds to kill her instantly with the first thing he could get his hands on, "The Thinker". Mr. Sahwit is convicted of murder thanks to Wright, and Larry Butz is free to go.

The next case involves Wright's boss Mia who is found murdered in her own office... too bad :(. I was hoping to get to know her character more as she seems like a badass attorney. The supposed culprit is Mia's younger sister, Maya, but Wright doesn't believe it so he takes up her case. Enter in Miles Edgeworth, considered by many to be a prodigy when it comes to prosecution, and he always goes above and beyond to get a guilty verdict no matter the cost. One thing leads to another, and it appears the witness to the crime, the bubbly cat girl April, is in cahoots with REAL murderer... but Edgeworth purposefully hid the other suspect from court. So no we proceed onto day 2 of Mia's trial. This keeps getting interesting.

Just beat the first game in the trilogy and WOW what a damn ride that last chapter was. I am so excited to play the next game. I almost want to take a pause and play more RDR2 so I can savor this game more.

But I guess that's what the anime is for.. ONWARD TO GAME TWO!!!

I started playing this game...a few days ago? Maybe a week? I'm almost done with the first in the trilogy and I started watching the anime. Why is this SO BRILLIANT and why am I SO CAPTIVATED?! Not complaining, just awestruck. The anime is just tying this all together for me because I get to see the outcomes in a …

I started playing this game...a few days ago? Maybe a week? I'm almost done with the first in the trilogy and I started watching the anime. Why is this SO BRILLIANT and why am I SO CAPTIVATED?! Not complaining, just awestruck. The anime is just tying this all together for me because I get to see the outcomes in a fluid motion instead of me presenting evidence over and over again with no contradictions.

Does this play ok on the switch? Or is the dual-screen scheme something super important for the game?

Beat Justice for All. Cases 2 and 4 were really well-written. Time to move on to Trials and Tribulations.

Currently on Justice For All - Case 2

I really can't say much that isn't spoilers. First game is really good. Second game adds the Psyche-Lock system.
