The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve is a game I expected to like. But I didn't expect it to be my favorite game in the Ace Attorney franchise. It is one of the few games in the series... However, he runs straight into a case that hasn't truly been solved for more than a decade. Ryunosuke and his friends will fight to solve this case while learning about the true reason they even went to London in the first place.
The plot has so many twists and turns. I can say for sure that I was screaming, and pacing in my room because of this plot. It was that good. TRULY the best part of the game. I've never been so engaged in a game in forever. It was a breathtaking experience with an extremely satisfying ending.
And my god, the music just hits different this time. A lot of the tracks in this game (with a few exceptions) were in the first game. But they seem to be used so much better in this game and I absolutely loved it.
And if isn't obvious, the cases are way better than the first one. The comedy is great too. Laughed a lot. This game is just really good at evoking emotion. Don't really know how to describe it. The pacing isn't the greatest. But I was able to put that aside and just enjoy it.
The Great Ace Attorney 2: Resolve is truly the best Ace Attorney game yet and I don't think even the Apollo games can trump it. It was one of my most memorable experiences with a game in years. I loved every second of it.
