In this game you act as a king/queen who constantly has to make decisions which effect their kingdom in various ways. Similar to Yes, Your Grace, but only requires a web browser and offers an even more simplified gameplay. You only have to say Yes or No to each question and accept the consequences.
The story is not too complicated, but provides some fun decisions to make. You try to manage your three resources: people, happiness and gold, and making the best decisions to maximize them all. The main problem for me was the characters, which are not relevant to the story keep are coming back over and over again asking for the same 2-3 things, which makes the gameplay like a chore sometimes. You can spice it up after you have more resources by being a bad king and making wrong decisions for fun, but that becomes boring after a while too. Yet I couldn't stop playing until I finished the main story and solved some of the sub-plots too.
The game has a day-night cycle and at the end of every day, you get a summary of your earnings/losses. I completed the main plot around 69 days (about 1,5 hours) I think and doubled that amount to just find new sub-plots and try to solve them all. It's not a long game, but can be an entertaining way to kill some time.
And to justify the title, here's a screenshot of my king sitting on his throne of gold coins. Maybe if it was built out of swords, he would have been more happy.
