Bought this out of nostalgia but lost whatever skill I had when I played it when I was younger. Haven’t gotten around to picking it back up after being terrible at it on my first sit down.

So glad this finally made its way to Steam. So much awesome nostalgia playing this game and love the updates they made to it. Completing all the hard 'get-theres' probably took years out of my life.

No longer is this the case - I've played these games so many times as a teenager going into adulthood and Vicarious Visions NAILED it. The company themselves have worked on THPS before so this was no surprise. A phenomenal remake that sold well and was praised. Shame activision canned 3+4 remake - I would of loved to see those 2 with a new coat of paint. I hope they re-explore this and put it back in the pipeline (no pun intended). Highly recommended.

To make up for the small number of maps they added a ton of challenges, which range from trivial to insanely hard. They're the type of stuff that I would have (and probably could have) done when I played the originals, but that's because I didn't exactly have a lot of games at the time. I don't have the single-minded dedication I did back then, especially when I have literally hundreds of games in my backlog. I'll play through all the maps and probably get some misc trophies then quit.

Time to relive another childhood classic in all its unnecessarily updated glory! Though, I'll admit, it's cool there's a custom skater option, and this is easily better than that god awful HD "re-release" on the 360 arcade back in the day, though that was a pretty low bar to overcome.

I’m glad to see the series come back. Wish there was a checklist for some of the challenges though. Some of the secret challenges only show x/19 because you need to do something for every stage, but they won’t show you which stage you’ve done it for.

Absolutely in love with this game. Everything I could have wanted from a straight up remake. Lot's of potential here for future remakes, Vicarious Visions have really proven themselves to be very, very competent developers.
It also runs great on a base PS4.
