In Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards, it's just as important to play your cards right as it is to get the right cards. This unique RPG gives you cards as weapons against the tough competition. You'll battle in a tournament hosted by Kaiba Corporation and win the powerful Egyptian God Cards. Based on events from the Yu-Gi-Oh! animated TV series, The Sacred Cards offers hundreds of cards, over 100 duelists and rivals, and unexpected twists and surprises.

Maddmike's review of Yu-Gi-Oh! The Sacred Cards

Sacred Cards isn't a 1:1 copy of Yugiohs rules and it isn't trying to be. If you can embrace it for what it is instead of decrying what it isn't, there's a lot to love.

Five stars is probably a bit generous for this one, but man there is just something so relaxing about this game. Straightforward battle system, pleasant world, charming music. The user elements and loading times are lightning quick too. It all makes for a great time to unwind and turn your brain off.

The difficulty is a little on the easy side if you know what you're doing, but things do ramp up by the end, not to mention the sequel game apparently takes matters from easy to brutal... I'm looking forward to it.

I liked it; it's short but a good way to revisit the Battle City arc.
