In your return to Battle City, you begin another mission to retrieve stolen millennium cards that can destroy the world. Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction features an all-new storyline that sets you off on a quest to stop Reshef from drowning the world in darkness. Since the game's battles are fought with cards, you must build a strong deck from 800 different cards (including all three Egyptian god cards) to even stand a chance against your enemies.

Morcys's review of Yu-Gi-Oh! Reshef of Destruction

I first got my hands on this game 20 years ago. I remember playing it for four years straight and still never finishing it because the difficulty was just absurd. It wasn't until 2012 that life brought me back to it; I started playing for an hour every night before bed, and thanks to that, I finally beat it in mid-2013. It’s one of those games that’s totally unfair but I'll never forget it. Between the hours I put in and how long it stayed with me, I practically grew up with this game.

My actual first Yu-Gi-Oh game ever on the GBA. Game I honestly want to replay again using my adult brain now versus baby brain.

❶ My oddly favorite character in this game was Joey who always had my back.

❷ WOW...THIS GAME WAS DIFFICULT FOR KIDS. NIGHTMARES OF BEING BEATEN OVER AND OVER AGAIN BY MARIK.

❸ SUPER BIAS RATING, BUT AS A KID...FINALLY BEING ABLE TO BEAT THE GAME GAVE ME SO MUCH ACCOMPLISHMENTS since I think I played the game for years and kept getting stuck at Marik for so long. Also, a lot of memorable, bias moments like the tag team duel against the twins. Classic blue hat MC getting engrossed in the Yu-Gi-Oh lore.
