I bought this when I was just a kid, and it wasn't what I was looking for, so I returned it.

20+ years later, I gave this a go on a very old laptop, at 2 am in bed, the room entirely dark. I spent the next 2 hours totally immersed and intrigued.

I am happy to say this has held my attention and I am going to be progressing further. I am really enjoying the classic CRPG experience mixed with early 2000s 3d graphics. It looks amazing both on my old laptop display and on a CRT screen.

Finally managed to finish Wizardry 8 (all four major endings). It was one of the best and most fulfilling role playing games I have ever played.
