Not really any spoilers but doing the "Forget Me Not" on the week of my wedding anniversary got me just heart open enough to kind of fuck me up and I actually CRIED at the end!!
...Not the silly RPG having a little sub-story hit me right in the fucking chest!

In my head, I wanted to get the story of this and try to be quicker with this one. I always end up spending 100 hours on each game of this series.
... BUT I have spent the last few days (and 5 hours and counting) doing one ONE(!) minigame! Curses to you Business Management!

After probably spending 10-20 hours on chapter 5 finally m, moved on and am now making steady progress doing any side stuff that goes along. Collected almost every Tojo crest in the main hub for a certain thing later in the game. for now it main story with any side content so I update when I have moved on to post-game. Oh fun little thing happened too so I own this game physically which was how I was playing the game for the ps5 version, well since it on PS+ today I redeemed it now I don't need the disc at all to play the PS5 version which is great because I need to windle down on the physical backlog.

I am on chapter 5 and will update as I go along. I am doing all the side stuff as I go along, and I have finished the business minigame on this playthrough, and have fully upgraded the workshop for weapons now it is just doing side stuff then continuing on the main story for a bit.

I will return to the story, but I think I'm grinding so much I'm severely over levelled. But I don't care, I just want to spend my time grinding. Eri can one shot entire groups of enemies. And not small groups, groups made up of eight, nine mobs. She can take out whole groups with a single attack for a tiny fraction of the MP cost of Kasuga's Essence of Orbital Laser. And the ignore damage stat on her best weapon just melts enemies, regardless of their defense. She's Rikku from FFX all over again, a lightning fast attacker who can be over levelled with an OP weapon that lets you one shot bosses. And I'm not even done levelling her (or the rest of the gang). I'm still just working on her Clerk job right now, but I plan to move her into Matriarch once she hits max level. She's a monster!
