This game is okay. Worth checking out if you're already a fan of the series and gameplay, but otherwise an easy pass. Cringey character designs, uninspired story, ultimately more of the first game but with less substance. Your choices don't appear to matter much until the very end. The skill cracks are improved, but I can't think of anything else …

This game is okay. Worth checking out if you're already a fan of the series and gameplay, but otherwise an easy pass. Cringey character designs, uninspired story, ultimately more of the first game but with less substance. Your choices don't appear to matter much until the very end. The skill cracks are improved, but I can't think of anything else about the game that is better than the original. Personally I would recommend passing on the entire Devil Survivor series unless you feel compelled to play every SMT game (like me). Probably the weakest SMT game of all the ones I've played so far.
