the xbox version of mario kart

I grew up playing Xbox, and Joy Ride Turbo was one of the closest games we had to a Mario Kart-style experience. It was simple, fun, and had some nice ideas with mid-air stunts, different skills, and varied tracks.

I grew up playing Xbox, and Joy Ride Turbo was one of the closest games we had to a Mario Kart-style experience. It was simple, fun, and had some nice ideas with mid-air stunts, different skills, and varied tracks.

I played it a lot with friends, so it is very nostalgic for me. It may not be the most advanced kart racer, but it was still a solid and enjoyable Mario Kart clone.

I was looking for a "Mario Kart" like type of game to have fun with, and recently started playing this. It's good and I can recommend it. It's funny, it has well-built tracks, contrary to Mario Kart, the shortcuts in the tracks have important items to collect and also, another addition besides the "weapons" are the stunts you can perform during long jumps. Perhaps it should have a little more customization and embellishments, but this is a very good driving arcade imo.
