Hover Junkers is a VR + MOTION CONTROL ONLY multiplayer flying fort game designed from the ground up exclusively for VR. Enter the virtual world of the drought stricken future where junk hunters scavenge for scrap left behind. Players choose their ship based on their RoomScale play area and enter into multiplayer combat areas to claim scrap/loot and defend against enemy player junkers. Using scrap as actual defenses against incoming fire, players can physically dodge, hide, and shoot from behind the cover of their ships defenses.

Shifty and rough, needs work

I didn't really have a good time playing this. Small community of maybe 40-50 players on a busy night, who are extremely good. The game puts it's own twist on the FPS by using some interesting tricks and replacing your body with a hovercraft, this alleviates (i'm guesisng) sensations of nausea, but you don't really have a sense of control over your body with the cover system in it. I also found it very hard to see (but that's just me probably) Weapon selection was pretty interesting and you can dual wield akimbo style but i found using said weapons very difficult and lacked any mastery of them. (supposedly added tons of new weapons since i played it)

creative twist on the FPS somewhat well suited for a VR game using roomscale and limited range of motion.

no single player/limited audience (not best combo to have)
bad balance of weapons (everyone only uses one)

at it's price tag, it's not worth it imo. then again it has been updated a lot since i had played it. In general the game just felt unifnished and buggy and very 'early access' weapon updates alone wont fix that.

if you are looking for a shooter, and willing to pay this much there are better games, such as Raw Data
